Smooth styling that has made it different from its competitors, a punchy, 147kW/265Nm 2.0-liter motor and an altogether arranged sporty case raised the S15 200SX well past what might regularly have been normal at the cost.

NISSAN sILVA S15 Reviews:
Review 1:
Fantastic Car. I managed to purchase a new Spec S with GT pack back in December of 2002. I still have the car today and it stands out from other cars especially when parked in the street. I have slightly modified my car with light modifications such as exhaust & dump pipe, sway bars and air pod. The car performs very well especially in comparison to many cars sold today and even puts some of them to shame in looks and performance. I don't ever plan on selling this car - it's one that I will be keeping.
Review 2:
Best sports car I have owned hands down, best bang for buck performance. Coupe, turbocharged rear wheel drive sports cars are a dying bread and this was the last one!
Review 3:
I have one of these cars and its unmodified, was owned by Nissan itself until I got it about 6 years ago. The one I have has the Silvia badging all over it - light covers door trims steering wheel etc:. This is a great car to drive and the number of heads that turn when you drive down the street, you know it is still got it compared to most of the amount of the new car of heads that turn when you drive down the street, you know it is still got it compared to most of the new cars
Review 4:
That car mentioned in the article has aftermarket side skirts and an aftermarket rear wing so not sure about unmodified.
Review 5:
Brilliant car. Had a Spec S GT (one of the last made), and have many regrets overselling it. It was such a pure driving experience, unspoiled by nannying electronics or silly dual-clutch gearboxes. On a different note, something that you don't ever see in reviews such as this is a commentary on the bulletproof nature of the SR20DET when modified appropriately. Mine fell into this category, having only a cat-back exhaust, front mount intercooler, and slight lift in boost (9psi), resulting in 160kW at the wheels, and ABSOLUTE reliability and dependability through the worst Sydney summers, and several "spirited" track days. If it weren't for the breeding and the mortgage(s), I'd have another one in a flash!
Conclusion:
The Nissan Silvia S15 is a small, lightweight smart car to drive. The fabulous 2 + 2 rear-drive turbocharged sports coupe is rare to find nowadays. From all the positive and negative reviews, my opinion about this car is different from all. My experience with this sports car was incredible as it has all the classy and sporty features installed in it. Further, the excellent power of the engine is also called a Nissan S15 a drift car to drive.
