Top 10 Most Affordable Australian Cars of 2020

There are so many cars being manufactured every day around the globe and in the process of all the production of these cars by various brands, a lot of cars are being priced at various rates.  Most people think that immensely priced cars are the ones that will satisfy the customer the most but in reality, there are normal priced cars that might actually be enough to satisfy a client’s everyday needs.

Discussing the ten cheapest cars in Australia. If you want to save some money when buying your car then here are some cars that you might want to consider if you are on a budget and are also looking for a car that will satisfy your needs or just an everyday car for yourself.

1: Mirage by Mitsubishi

The first car is the Mirage by Mitsubishi and this car will probably cost a person around 12,000$ to 13,000$. Now at first, the price may seem like a lot but it’s actually not for what the car has to offer. From comfort to basic air conditioning facility to being a car well suited for a family. This car has approximately six airbags which have been fitted into the car for obvious safety purposes. It also has ABS, Bluetooth, air conditioning, etc. This car comes in the category/market of the microcar market but overall it still has held its position regardless of being categorized under a specific label. The Mirage ES by Mitsubishi is an automatic car which will cost you a bit more than just the Mirage. The Mirage is a manual car but if you are not a fan of manual cars then try looking up the Mirage ES.

2: Picanto by Kia

The second cheapest car is the Picanto by Kia. Now again there are various models of it as there are of many cars. The Model S of Picanto is a manual car and if you’re not a fan of manual cars then you can have this car upgraded to an automatic car. The cost of the original Picanto S is around 14,000$ but if you get it upgraded then it’ll cost you a bit more, possibly a thousand dollars more. This car has cruise control which usually bigger cars have so that’s a plus. It also has a camera in the back for when reversing and it has a touch screen installed in the front. Basic facilities are present.

3:Jazz by Honda:

The third car is Jazz by Honda. The VTI version of this car is manual. This car has a very strong engine compared to the rest of the cars within a similar price range. This car will cost you around 15,000$. It has a touch screen installed, a reversing camera for ease, the back seats can easily be folded (this feature has also been added), plus this feature allows more space for luggage to be added in the back. Again if you want the auto version of this car then you will have to get this car upgraded to a CVT and that will cost you two thousand dollars more added to the original cost.

4:Mazda 2 NEO

The fourth car is the Mazda 2 neo which will cost you around 15,000$. Yes, this version of the car again is manual and if you want to get it upgraded you will have to pay extra added to the original cost of the car. It has a very responsive engine and gives the client the facility of driving around safely with the advantage of emergency brakes.  It has a very classy interior. Again the reversing camera is installed in the car with other basic facilities like air conditioning, heating, etc.

5:Yaris by Toyota

The fifth car is the Yaris by Toyota and this car costs around 15,300$. It has a hatch meaning it’s a hatchback like a car. Consisting of seven airbags for safety purposes, air conditioning, central heating system, cruise control, reversing camera and even touch screen system installed, this car has a lot to offer to the buyers. It is a family car. Provides all the basic facilities and more.

6:Accent sport by Hyundai

At number six is the Accent sport by Hyundai. The cost of this car is almost the same as the Yaris by Toyota which is around 15,000$ to 15,500$. This is a manual car and it is a six-speed hatch. The buyer can get this car upgraded to an auto (CVT) by adding an extra 2000$ or more to the original price of the car.

7: PROTON PREVE GX

The seventh car is the proton preve GX. Again for the people looking for manual cars, this car is for you and it costs around the same as the Yaris and Accent Sport (15,500$). The engine is a little less strong when compared to other cars within this range. It provides an advantage in one aspect that it’s a big car when compared to Yaris or the Sport. It has a total of five gears and all the other basic needs this car fulfills. A fact that it does get manufactured in Malaysia. And if you want the auto version of the car you have to pay extra for that as the original variant is manual.

8: Fiesta by Ford

The eighth car is the Fiesta by Ford costing around 16,000$. For a car in this range, it has a great drive. Smooth steering wheel, seating comfort, five gears, air conditioning, heating, etc. All in all, this is a great car. The buyer can get this upgraded and get the auto version by adding an extra 2000$ to the original price. Originally this car was a manual car.

9: Holden Barina

The ninth car on this list is the Holden Barina. Also, the manual car costs around 15,000$. Consisting of a reversing camera, LED lights, touch screen with facilities from Apple, around six airbags, fog lights, air conditioning, central heating and much more.  There are two versions of this car. The first one is the manual version having five gears whereas the auto version of this car has six gears and is available for around 17,000$.

10: MG3 CORE

The tenth car is the MG3 core and the price of this car is around 14,000$. It has five gears, a central locking system, Bluetooth, a smooth steering wheel, air conditioning, etc. All the versions of this model come with a six-year warranty. This is also a manual car.

If you are looking for a car preferably cheap but within the budget then you should check out the cars mentioned above because at the price they now go; if that is your budget and an affordable car is what you are looking for then give any one of the above a try as most of these are very good and reliable cars, especially if you are a new driver or just need a car for everyday use. The prices can’t get better than this as in today’s world everything is getting expensive. Rarely standards are met even when you are paying the full price you expect the best for what you are paying and the cars within this range are definitely the shortlisted ones that you should check out and try for yourself.
