Nissan GQ Patrol Review Australia | A Combination of Speed & Structure

- Apr 08, 2020
The 2020 Nissan Patrol introduced into the Australian market with a modified face-lifted structure as well as updated standard equipment offered. There is a bundle of features installed to improve the standard of the model. The beautiful model has a giant structure that holds every kind of surface of the road.
On-road, everything about the Patrol is easy and effortless. The ride is made smooth with the combination of the best working engine and transmission. While the steering wheel is much weighted. Most of the time we forget how huge the Patrol GQ is. This is the reason behind its cruises in a luxurious way.
There's nothing in the way for the wind or tyre noise entering the car. Additionally, keeping in mind that the suspension is sufficient enough to be lavish, it doesn't flounder and rolls the manner in which big 4WDs generally do. However, this car is a balanced car. Sometimes, there comes a point, when it uses more fuel than a diesel V8, and regardless of the fact that it is greater than other 'large' SUVs.
However, the average of this SUV combined is 17.0L/100km, which is just 4.0L/100km more than our 13.0L/100km normal from a 200 Series diesel within the single loop. Given the refinement of the petroleum engine, the smooth power delivery including all the driving dynamics doesn’t have much price difference. Further, the Nissan Patrol GQ is the best car to buy.
Nissan Patrol Exterior:
The Nissan Patrol also includes unique exterior accessories with all the standard features that play a great role in making it stylishly, and the rugged vehicle makes it more lavish. The Nissan Patrol GQ Exterior
✓ Illumination Puddle light
✓ Sunroof with electric one-touch power that can tilt & slide
✓ Power-operated tailgate
✓ Rear side, back, and sunroof privacy glass
Nissan Patrol Interior:
The Nissan Patrol Interior Accessories and Features help to upgrade the model with modern features that enhance and lighten the beautiful structure of the Patrol. All Nissan Patrol Types come standard with these Patrol SUV highlights:
✓ Satellite Navigation installed with 3D mapping as well as 8″ integrated color display that has a touch screen
✓ 13 Premium Bose® speakers
✓ Smart Rear View Mirror
✓ Off-Road Monitor
✓ Two-second row seat 8″ QHD entertainment screens with headphones and remote control
A lot of comforts are down to the quality and execution of the cabin. The seats are wide and positioned commandingly. The cabin itself feels bigger and is covered over each of the three lines, particularly in the second line, and there's more space back there than pretty much some other huge SUV of any kind. If you have high school kids, or youngsters moving toward their adolescent years, this is a suitable big SUV for a developing family.
Three grown-ups can easily sit in that second line. With the installation of ample knee and foot room as well. The rooftop doesn't feel excessively near your head in the second line either, regardless of whether you're taller than normal. Into the third row, the seats are much more useful, and the main problem is that they don't sit down at a complete level when you fold them off from the way.
Autonomous emergency braking (AEB) is currently standard across both model grades in the range of the Patrol, and the AEB system additionally includes the detection of the pedestrian. Moreover, the update of the Patrol also gets rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and blind-spot monitoring.
Further standard equipment features for the entry-level model on the test that incorporate satellite navigation, electric front seats, surround-view monitoring, pure leather seat trim, and steering wheel trim. Utilizing the term 'entry-level' is somewhat of a misnomer given the lavish feel and assemble the quality that you get with the Patrol.
Nissan Patrol Colours:
Nissan Patrol is available in these exciting colors:
✓ Dark Brown
✓ Desert Dune
✓ Pearl White
✓ Gun Metallic
Price of the Nissan Patrol:
The Nissan Patrol is secured by a five-year/unlimited kilometer warranty, and the initial six services are topped at $376, $577, $392, $860, $407 and $624 respectively with half-year/10,000km interims. No doubt a behemoth, particularly around the town, the Patrol remains as helpful, viable and comfortable. It makes a lot of sense as a two-vehicle, rough terrain explorer or family SUV truck if your garage has much capacity.
Nissan Patrol GQ Reviews:
This is our family car and work vehicle
We use our car every day. Very economical
The fact that it only needs servicing twice a year is a financial help
Bought this vehicle 2nd.hand about 4yrs.ago,GQ 1994 4.2L EFI dual fuel,TI, my 3rd. Patrol 4sp auto with lock up kit as I use it for towing our 21ft.van and it does it with ease. Each time we are out and about with our van we get so many comments as to the great looking rig.At around 380,000 ks.is still going strong.Much loved Patrol & serviced every 10,000 ks.A happy patroller.
Bought new in april and have put 10k kms on it, gets used on road and off road! Love it!
Around town averages 14.5ltrs per 100, out on the open roard averages 12ltrs per 100.
It feels very nimble for a large car, there has been a few rattles and squeaks in interior but nothing to hard to fix..
Offroad its very capable, all the different modes and diff lock is very handy..
Very happy with the buy..
Just on 70,000k’s. Leaking coming from timing cover. Will cost $3,000 to fix! Never had a car needing the engine removed for repairs at 70,000k’s. I was told it’s a known problem. Well, Nissan fix for me.
The 3 litre is known as the ticking time bomb. There might be a fix for this but the one I owned blew an intercooler, overheated on hills, and was generally a pain. The suspension was very hard even when the tyres were let down. Needs adjustable shocks or something. Not buying another Patrol.
The SUV named The Nissan Patrol GQ is the only variant available in the latest generations. The ultimate luxury SUV that maintained its off-road working as well. However, this huge beast is beautiful inside out. Therefore, you must go for this fantastic car. Nissan GQ patrol is all you need for all the GQ parts installed in the car makes it work best among the rest.
