The interior of the Land Cruiser Sahara 2020 is outdated, yet it feels solid and sturdy. The main aim of Toyota is to build a  LandCruiser that ensures to maintain the company’s reputation of durability even in the toughest conditions. The interior cabin of the Land Cruiser Sahara 2020 screams that it has stuck with the tradition of the company and the simple switchgear ensures that the target is achieved.

 

On top of the dashboard sits a 9.0-inch infotainment system. Although this system looks impressive, it has started to get outdated. It has a slow and glitchy movement through the menus, and also it lacks Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. 

 

The things that the interior of Sahara includes are the AM/FM, DAB+ digital radio, auxiliary input and CD player. IN addition to that, it also has a voice recognition system that can be used to make calls or enter navigation destinations. On the centre console, there is a wireless phone charger hidden behind a door. The only problem is that it is hard to use and lacks proper phone storage, so the phone slides out when you accelerate.

 

There is a small display between the speedometer and tachometer. This display offers trip computer information and detail on the selected four-wheel drive modes. The speedometer and tachometer also have analogue gauges for battery voltage, engine coolant temperature, fuel levels and engine oil temperature alongside them. There is a refrigerated container on the centre console that keeps all the drinks cool when you are on the move. 

 

Despite the Land Cruisers size, the second row of the Sahara does not have a huge amount of legroom or toe room. In the second row, an adult or a tall person would sit with their knees almost touching the front seat’s backs as they get comfortable. On the back of the centre console, there are climate controls that are responsible for the third and fourth climate zones. 

 

There are also some other controls back there, including seat heating controls for the two outboard seats and volume control for the entertainment system headphones. The two outboard seats have two ISOFIX points, but the third row has no top tether or ISOFIX points. With the second row in place, the cargo capacity for Shara’s boot comes in at 1276 litres.
