Hyundai Accent Review: Price, Variants, Features, Mileage, Problems

Hyundai Accent Review

Being the third-largest vehicle manufacturing company in the entire world, Hyundai is one of the world’s most popular brands when it comes to automobiles. It would not be wrong to say that the iconic ‘H’ logo of Hyundai is the first thing that comes to anyone’s mind when the company name is mentioned, and that’s the result of great marketing.

The Hyundai Motor Company was formed in 1967 and is a South Korean automobile manufacturing company whose headquarters are located in Seoul. As per the recent statistics, Hyundai vehicles are sold in 193 countries. The company has recently released another model of their vehicles; namely the 2020 Hyundai Accent. We are going to cover each and every aspect of the new Hyundai Accent and give our professional review on it. The article will cover the price, different variants, features, mileage, photos, and many other cool things about this vehicle.

Hyundai Accent:

Hyundai Accent is a subcompact car from the Hyundai Motor Company. Recently, the 2020 model was released and has been rated #7 in the top subcompact car list. Despite being a subcompact car, the vehicle is pretty spacious and can hold 5 fully grown persons comfortably and the 6th one can get in if he or she feels like it, although no one in the backseat would be comfortable then. The vehicle runs a 43 liters fuel tank and has a really efficient engine which provides a great mileage too.

With the price you are paying for Accent, you should not expect a race car performance. The performance is not SUPER high, but it is still good for a car like this. It can run really well on almost all types of tracks provided that the tyres do not run into any trouble.

Hyundai Accent Price:

The 2020 model of the vehicle is available to purchase at an average of $16,500. Since the vehicle has three different variants, they all cost different from each other. Hence, if you want the vehicle for the average cost, the SEL variant is perfect for you. Otherwise, you can always head over to the two extremes for more… extremity.

SE: $14,445

SEL: $16,800

Limited: $18,550

Hyundai Accent Variants:

As mentioned above, the Hyundai Accent has three different variants or “trims” as the Hyundai refers to them as. These “trims” were made in order to make the vehicle available for all kinds of people who prefer to buy the Accent. The budget-friendly SE, the general SEL, and the premium Limited are the current variant of the vehicle. The detail of these variants has been discussed below:

SE:

The vehicle is basically the same except for a few changes made to the exterior of the vehicle and its specifications. You can look at the exterior in the pictures section, however, the differences in specifications/technology are:

 1- 5-inch touchscreen

 2- Rearview camera

 3- Bluetooth phone system

 4- 60/40 split fold-down rear seatback

SEL:

The more “general” variant of the vehicle. In this trim, the vehicle’s exterior has been changed to tweak a few things. The price has been increased by $2400 to compensate for the changes. The difference list includes:

 1- 7-inch touchscreen

2- Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

 3- 15-inch alloy wheels

 4- Dual charging USB

Limited:

The Limited version, considered to be the best variant, has increased the price by $4000 from the original one and has made some significant changes to the vehicle. These include:

 1- Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA)

 2- 17-inch alloy wheels

 3- Blue Link

 4- Proximity Key

 5- Push-button start

Hyundai Accent Colors

You would not expect Hyundai to make something dull, right? Well, that’s great then! The Hyundai Accent colors which are available when making the purchase of the vehicle are as follows:

 1- Frost White Pearl

 2- Olympus Silver

 3- Linen Beige

 4- Urban Gray

 5- Admiral Blue

 6- Pomegranate Red

 7- Absolute Black

Fuel Consumption:

Hyundai Accent fuel consumption goes anywhere from 30 to 40 mpg depending on where you are traveling. Inside the city, the consumption rate would be an average of 30 mpg while on the highways, you would find it closer to 40 mpg.

Problems with Hyundai Accent:

The only two problems we have noted with the Hyundai Accent are as follows:

1- Despite having good overall performance, acceleration and speed are somewhat complicated issues. The vehicle performs well but at higher speed, it starts losing the performance a little bit. It is not designed for way high speeds, so we wouldn’t worry that much about it.

2- The performance drops at off-road tracks.

Is it worth buying?

In our opinion, if you want a budget vehicle with a remarkable performance, this is the car for you. However, if you want anything more or anything less, then you should consider checking out some other options. This vehicle is outright a genuinely good one and performs really well.

Before you jump to a conclusion and purchase a vehicle, make sure you perform the necessary background checks on the vehicle. If you want to do it easily and efficiently, let QuickREVs do it for you with a click of a button!
